How Salt Actually Damages Window Glass
Salt in Tampa Bay's coastal air doesn't arrive as flakes. It arrives as micro-droplets of atomized Gulf water carried by onshore breezes, and it lands on your windows about every ten seconds. As the droplet evaporates in the Florida sun, the salt crystallizes onto the glass surface.
